As you look at your church, how does the environment feel concerning prayer? This environment, as you see in the strategy of the SCBC, begins with those who are in positions of leadership. This is the first place where applying this strategy needs to take place.

     Other areas where your church can apply this strategy are found in the different initiatives the SCBC encourages. Acts 1:8, GPS (God’s Plan for Sharing), The Billy Graham Prayer Cards, and A Story to Tell are a few of the initiatives that are encouraged for churches to participate in that begin with prayer.

     As you explore this site, you will see how to assess where you are personally in your prayer life, as well as the prayer life of your church. Knowing what level you are already working from will help you know how to best apply this strategy to your life and your church. You may find that some of these initiatives will put you, and your church, in a place where the work can only be done on their knees!
